As a Product and Interior Designer, I bring a unique blend of skills honed from my background in photography and graphics. I'm great at solving customer problems and love working in an international context — I’m fluent in English, Russian, Spanish, and Italian, and I have a basic knowledge of German.
My Background and philosophy
Earlier in my career, I enjoyed working in the real estate industry, assisting clients in buying and selling homes. However, I soon realized my passion lay in creation rather than sales. This realization led me to pursue photography and design. I hold certificates in Graphic Design from the Shillington School and Interior Design from Parsons School of Art & Design, along with a Master’s in artistic photography from EFTI in Madrid. With extensive experience in branding, digital design, and interior design consulting, I am dedicated to bringing clients' visions to life.
I’m a firm believer in intentional and purposeful living, valuing quality, conscious thinking, integrity, and mutual respect for both the planet and one another. In my interior design work, I love integrating natural materials like stone, sustainable wood, and unique handcrafted pieces (like here). It's all about embracing the wabi-sabi philosophy, celebrating the beauty of impermanence and imperfection in design.
UX / UI Design versus Interior Design
My biggest passion is creating designs that resonate with people and seeing firsthand how it enhances their lives. Although the scale and mediums may differ between UX and Interior Design, the common thread is designing spaces—physical or digital—that cater to how people interact with them.
In both UX and Interior Design, I start by understanding the client or target audience, whether it's an individual, couple, family, or a specific business goal. By identifying their unique needs, I can develop the functionality of the space accordingly. This often leads to entirely different layouts for the same physical area.
Once the functional aspects are in place, I focus on the aesthetics— things like colors, textures, shapes, and furniture, which can be compared to the concept of "UI" in the digital realm.
In UX, I like identifying problems and coming up with optimal solutions. Real-world testing with actual users helps me refine my designs through iterations. I enjoy gathering different perspectives from a variety of people and using their feedback to make products that are elegant and user-centric (like here).
What i bring
I’m a quick learner and a highly effective communicator, driven by a passion for discovering and crafting simple yet elegant solutions to intricate challenges. I bring a curious and analytical mind and a collaborative spirit. Combining my skills in interior and graphic design, I'm able to guide projects from start to finish. This means I can create digital products that not only make users happy but also deliver tangible value to the business.
