I design spaces by paying attention first.
Before layout or furniture, I look at light, movement, and the character a place already holds. My work is less about decoration and more about creating rooms that feel quietly right to live in.
I work across interiors, digital projects, and photography, but the approach is the same: noticing how people inhabit a space, how materials age, and how atmosphere shapes experience.
My Background and philosophy
For me, design is atmosphere and emotion. I approach interiors with the same sensitivity I bring to photography — an attentiveness to light, intimacy, and the small details that reveal a story.
I earned a Master’s in Artistic Photography from EFTI in Madrid, and later studied Interior Design at Parsons. Working between spatial design and image-making shaped how I see: spaces are not compositions alone, but environments people move through and remember.
inspiration
My perspective is informed by photography, art, and cinema — from Francesca Woodman and Luigi Ghirri to Giacometti, Basquiat, and films such as The Piano and Rust and Bone. What I take from them is not style but sensibility: restraint, presence, and emotional clarity.
design in all dimensions
I’m drawn to natural materials, wabi-sabi philosophy, and a measured European aesthetic. I design spaces that breathe — textured surfaces, subtle color, and light that changes throughout the day.
A core part of my practice is working with Italian and European manufacturers and artisans. I select materials for depth, craftsmanship, and longevity, building palettes that feel both modern and enduring.
I approach digital work in the same way: clarity, flow, and human-centered experience rather than visual noise. One of my UX projects is here.
What i bring
I bridge the poetic and the practical. My work begins with listening — understanding how people want to live and how a space should support them. From concept to completion, I guide projects with calm process, careful decisions, and attention to detail.
I work comfortably across cultures and languages (English, Russian, Spanish, Italian) and collaborate closely with clients, architects, and builders to translate ideas into spaces that feel personal and lasting.
