My Background and philosophy
I am a multidisciplinary designer creating spaces and experiences where authenticity, texture, and human presence come alive. My work spans interiors, digital design, and visual storytelling, shaped by curiosity, craftsmanship, and a love of detail.
For me, design is atmosphere and emotion. I approach interiors with the same sensitivity I bring to photography — an attunement to light, intimacy, and the quiet details that reveal a story. I studied Interior Design at Parsons and earned a Master’s in Artistic Photography from EFTI in Madrid.
inspiration
My perspective is shaped by photography, art, and cinema — from Francesca Woodman and Luigi Ghirri to Giacometti, Basquiat, and films like The Piano and Rust and Bone. Their influence taught me to design spaces that feel honest, poetic, and alive.
design in all dimensions
I’m inspired by natural materials, wabi-sabi philosophy, and a restrained European aesthetic. I design spaces that breathe — textured surfaces, subtle layers of color, and light that shifts through the day.
A core strength of my practice is my knowledge of Italian and European manufacturers and artisans (including Mutina, La Pietra Compattata, and others). I source materials with depth, craftsmanship, and longevity, building palettes that feel modern and timeless.
I approach UX/UI with the same principles: clarity, flow, and human-centered experience. One of my UX projects is here.
What i bring
I bridge the poetic and the practical, shaping environments with intention, beauty, and purpose. My work is grounded in listening and in understanding how people want to live and feel. With global fluency (English, Russian, Spanish, Italian) and a multidisciplinary background, I guide projects from concept to completion with clarity and heart.
